They make it so hard to be angry.

Justin has been screaming at me for everything lately. Anytime he wants to talk to me about anything he screams it at me instead of talking to me like a normal person.

Today he was screaming at me to turn the music up, it wasn't loud enough for him. I'd finally had enough so I just turned the music off instead. He cried for a few minutes but I told him no more music because of his screaming.

A minute later Dylan started crying that she wanted music. "But mommy I want to listen to songs!" That's when Justin suddenly says:

"Too bad een (the way Justin pronounces Dylan), no more music. Too bad."

It was too much for all of us. We all started laughing hysterically. And like that everything was over.

Yeah, they have away of doing that, don't they. Good times.

Aren't those times the best!? I did the worst and burst out laughing when Doug was trying to scold Cooper the other day and Coops said something hysterical. Nice parenting, right? LOL~ Sometimes you just can't help it!

Doesn't it suck when you are forced to "punish" the second child by "punishing" the offending one? I often find myself at that dilemma, taking away a privilege they both enjoy, because one of them acted out.

I sometimes laugh in the middle of disciplining Ellie because she makes faces at me. I can't help it. They do make it so hard.

I am sometimes horrible with disciplining because he gives me that face, you know the one. Or he says how upset and sad I make him. Who can handle the pressure?!?

Those are my favorite moments! All that mounting stress suddenly melts away.

That is SO funny! It's at those times when you want to be stern and disciplinary, but you can't help but laugh.
